Mardyah Tucker - violin
Mardyah studied the violin at the Royal College of Music
where she developed a passion for playing string quartets.
In addition to playing with major orchestras, she has played
for many groups and ensembles, and has been lucky enough
to back distinguished artists such as the late Barry White,
and Dame Shirley Bassey, appearing at Glastonbury for her
headlining act in 2007.
Mardyah is a composer, arranger and improviser. After
completing her masters in composition, she orchestrated
the music and recorded the solo violin for the feature film,
'City Rats'. She also organises concerts of her own music.
