...and the quartet has started the year playing for a sunny winter wedding at the beautiful 'Great Fosters' in Egham, Surrey.
November-December 2011
The quartet has just returned from a wonderful cruise on the Saga Pearl II.
We had a superb trip to Madeira,The Canary Islands, Morocco and Lisbon. We gave four recitals which were well received by our very attentive audience of interesting people with whom we had many fascinating conversations.
In addition we enjoyed a comfortable life on board with lovely cabins, wonderful food and fantastic weather.
Thanks to Saga for providing us with an absolutely great time.

Cressida played for the new TV series of Pop Star to Opera Star.

The Quartet flew to the Algarve in Portugal to play for a beautiful wedding that took place
on the edge of a cliff looking out to sea.
We accompanied the songs performed by the Bride and the Bride's mother.
The quartet then had a great two day holiday.

Maryan gave a presentation about Colourstrings - the Kodaly based approach to string teaching - to teachers at the Sage Gateshead in Newcastle.

Our viola player, Cressida, recently featured in the Daily Mail playing for the opening of the Peter Jones Beauty Grotto in Sloane Square.
She also played with the band 'Madness' at the Brighton Centre and at Earls Court in London, for the end of their UK tour.
